- Can you build me a web site on the hosting i have now?
- Yes! we can still build you a web site. There's only
two items to consider.
1) We'll need the (a) ftp username and password to upload / change files.
2) The hosting needs to support the right technologies for some solutions to work.
We'll notify you if there's any issues to help you make a decision.

- I have a domain name, is that the same as hosting?
- No. If you have only registered a domain name you have only
secured that "URL" as yours. Web hosting is a sperate purchase to secure the
"Web Server" space that your web site files will actually be stored on.
- I don't have anything, can you help me?
- Yes! we can register the domain name and set-up web hosting for you.
- If I switch my hosting how will this work?
- The process of switching hosting is not as complicated as it might sound.
essentially it works like this:
1) The new hosting is set-up.
2) Current or redesigned web site files are copied to the new hosting.
3) The new site is tested with a temporary URL.
4) If all is well all email accounts are recreated on the new hosting.
5) Through the domain name registrar**** the DNS servers are configured to oint to the new hosting.
6) The old hosting is decommissioned.
**** ALL our clients have domains registered through network solutions. You don't need
to do that but you will be responsible for domain renewals and altering DNS information if you don't
switch to Network Solutions. We can help with the transfer if you wish.
